SER gets SOC 2 Type 2 for Doxis Cloud Services

SER, a leading global vendor of intelligent content automation solutions SER Group (www.sergroup.com) achieves Service Organization Control (SOC 2) Type 2 certification for its Doxis Cloud Services.

“Our SOC 2 certification — first Type 1 and now also Type 2 — is further compelling evidence of the complete effectiveness of the controls and processes we have put in place to offer our customers the highest standards of data protection, privacy, processing integrity, availability and security in the cloud,” says Dr Gregor Joeris, CTO of SER.  “We are delighted to add this new certification to our portfolio.”

In 2020, SER had already comprehensively documented the controls in effect on a specified date for safeguarding the security and availability of Doxis Cloud Services, resulting in successful SOC 2 Type 1 certification through CyberGuard Compliance LLP.  

The next step was to achieve SOC 2 Type 2 certification, for which SER was required to undergo a full audit of its controls: the Doxis Cloud Services passed the real-world test with flying colors and zero deviations.

This Type 2 certification is assurance that SER’s controls are suitably designed and implemented, and that the company consistently and verifiably complies with the relevant guidelines and processes.  Customers of SER who use Doxis Cloud Services can be safe in the knowledge that SER takes all steps necessary to protect their information and processes in the cloud.
