Midnight in the War Room goes on tour

Cybersecurity company Semperis is taking its new documentary Midnight in the War Room on a 30-city global screening tour, bringing its look at the people behind the fight against cyberwar to audiences across Europe, North America, Asia and Australia.

The feature-length film, which Semperis describes as the first documentary focused on cyberwar, premiered at Black Hat USA on 5 August in front of an audience of CISOs, national security leaders and cybersecurity professionals – the very community at the heart of the film.

Produced by Semperis Studios, Midnight in the War Room features more than 50 interviews and over 100 hours of conversations with CISOs, former hackers, journalists and national security experts.  Contributors include former US Cyber Director Chris Inglis, former CIA Director General David Petraeus, former CISA Director Jen Easterly, WannaCry researcher Marcus Hutchins and former SolarWinds CISO Tim Brown.

The documentary explores the growing threat posed by nation-state attacks and ransomware gangs, while putting the spotlight on the defenders protecting critical infrastructure such as power and water networks, healthcare systems, financial institutions and food supply chains.
