Infinidat expands cyber resiliance to OpenShift workloads

As organizations seek stronger cyber resilience across increasingly complex IT environments, Infinidat’s Mike Jochimsen, Director of Alliances, and Eric Herzog, Chief Marketing Officer, explore how the company’s portfolio protects OpenShift workloads running on InfiniBox enterprise storage in episode four of the Infinidat Red Hat TechCast.

At the heart of the offering is InfiniSafe®, cyber resilience stack combines immutable snapshots, local and remote air gaps, fenced forensic environments and near-instant recovery.  Immutable snapshot recoverability is guaranteed, with recovery in under a minute on InfiniBox and under 20 minutes on InfiniGuard.

Using AI-based scanning and machine learning to spot ransomware and malware, InfiniSafe Cyber Detection has an accuracy of up to 99.99% helping organizations to find their last known good copy and get back up and running quickly after an attack.

The platform combines immutable snapshots, logical air gaps, forensic environments and rapid recovery with InfiniSafe® Automated Cyber Protection, which can automatically trigger snapshots when threats are detected.

As a Lenovo company and Red Hat Certified Ecosystem Partner, Infinidat also supports OpenShift and major Kubernetes backup solutions through its CSI Driver, giving enterprises greater flexibility over where data reduction and backup workloads are handled.
