InfiniBox enhances InfiniBox G4 family
 

High-end enterprise storage becomes more compact, energy-efficient and cost-effective as Infinidat  introduces its InfiniBox™ SSA G4 F24 all-flash family capable of delivering high-end storage in a reduced footprint with superior Green IT power-efficiency − and at an unprecedented lower entry price point for a high-end enterprise storage solution.

Boasting a 31% smaller physical configuration and a 45% reduction in power per petabyte (PBu), the new InfiniBox SSA G F24 will use less power, less coolant chemicals, and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Customers can expect up to two times better bandwidth performance; 32% better overall performance; and a full stack of InfiniSafe® software’s comprehensive cyber storage security technology at no charge with the InfiniBox G4 solution.  With a 29% lower entry price point than the original InfiniBox SSA G4, the new InfiniBox SSA G4 F24 all-flash family makes the InfiniBox G4 family more accessible to a broader range of enterprises.

The shift of the InfiniBox SSA offerings from a "partially populated" model to a new "scale-up" model, allows customers to expand their storage solutions with ease.  Instead of pre-determined 20% capacity increments (60%, 80%, 100%), the new InfiniBox SSA models provide more flexible upgrade capacities and options.  As always, customer upgrades are non-disruptive.

InfiniBox Hybrid now supports up to 33PB effective capacity per rack, improving storage management and scalability. It enhances consolidation, serves as a reliable backup target with faster backup and restore times, and offers cyber recovery with an RTO of one minute or less, no matter the repository size.
