HelpSystems wins award

HelpSystems (www.helpsystems.com) has won the Enterprise Security Solution award at Computing’s annual Security Excellence Awards.  This award celebrates the achievements of the IT industry's leading security companies, solutions, products, and personalities and recognizes HelpSystems’ Secure ICAP Gateway and Managed File Transfer solution as being innovative, comprehensive, and the most widely adopted enterprise-grade security solution on the market.

“We’re thrilled to accept this prestigious award and recognition from industry for the best-in-class data security and compliance capability of our data security product suite,” says Kate Bolseth, CEO, HelpSystems.  “Our mission in 2021 is to continue to delight customers with our comprehensive suite of offerings; delivering robust, solutions and support for every aspect of enterprise data security, compliance, and management.”

Computing’s editorial director, Stuart Sumner, announced the award win stating that enterprise-scale firms face uncountable attacks every day; and no IT team can hope to catch them all manually.  Therefore they were looking for a data security provider whose product was on the “bleeding edge of enterprise security requirements”, covering every base of security need within the enterprise.  HelpSystems’ Secure ICAP Gateway and Managed File Transfer stood apart from the competition by properly addressing the major issues of compliance and data security, which are particularly pertinent today given file sharing is so widely used.”

This accolade comes hot on the heels of HelpSystems being shortlisted as a finalist at Cyber Defense’s annual ‘Black Unicorn Awards’, the most exclusive awards in the cyber security industry that recognise global cyber security leaders, with the potential to reach a $1 billion dollar market valuation.
