DCIG ranks Infinidat in world's top 5

Storage analyst firm DCIG has named Infinidat InfiniGuard® among the world’s Top 5 cyber resilient 3PB+ purpose-built backup appliance (PBBA) solutions for enterprises for 2026/27, recognizing its ability to accelerate backup and recovery.  The report highlights InfiniGuard’s Neural Cache technology, which learns backup and restore patterns to speed up recovery, including restoring immutable snapshots of any size dataset in 20 minutes or less.

“We’re excited to see the InfiniGuard continue to be recognized as one of the top purpose-built backup appliances in the world,” says Eric Herzog, Chief Marketing Officer, Infinidat, a Lenovo company.  “Our InfiniGuard solution provides unparalleled speed and reliability for enterprise backup, restore, and cyber storage resilience.  Built on the foundation of our award-winning InfiniBox enterprise storage platform, InfiniGuard comes with the power of our full InfiniSafe cyber resilience software suite and our unique, machine learning-driven Neural Cache technology.”

“Cyber resilience and fast recoveries are now differentiators for PBBAs, and Infinidat’s InfiniGuard PBBA excels in both.  As cyberattacks, such as ransomware and malware, increase and become more sophisticated, the advanced features of an InfiniGuard are highly fitting for a recovery-first, cyber resilient strategy to be effective,” comments Jerome Wendt, Principal Analyst, DCIG.

“Our DCIG TOP 5 Cyber Resilient PBBA 3PB+ analysis affirmed that the InfiniGuard is well-suited for enterprises that must protect growing backup repositories while minimizing operational complexity and downtime.”

The growing volume and sophistication of cyber threats have turned PBBAs from storage add-ons into an essential first line of cyber defence.
