NETSCOUT Arbor shows high ROI

The latest Forrester Consulting Total Economic Impact™ study reveals organizations are receiving 223% Return On Investment (ROI) when using NETSCOUT’s ( Arbor DDos Protection Solution.

Based on a financial assessment and interviews with decision-makers that implemented the solution, the Forrester study also found that over three years, the Arbor DDoS Protection Solution provided a representative composite organization of interviewed customers with reduced customer downtime from potential DDoS incidents enabled by a 75% reduction in mean time to remediation (MTTR) for DDoS incidents that impact customers by year three.

Additionally, the study shows an 80% reduction in MTTR from a downtime DDoS attack, resulting in a composite organization retaining $3.4 million of its revenues in Year 1, $4.0 million in Year 2, and $4.7 million in Year 3.

By using a combination of Arbor Sightline and Arbor Insight, organizations were able to achieve a 10.3% boost in revenue through enhanced premium services enabled by Arbor Insight.

“Prior to deploying Arbor DDoS Protection Solution, the composite organization’s SecOps and IT ops teams lacked tools to provide visibility into potential DDoS threats or the capability to auto mitigate, so they spent a great deal of unproductive time in incident management,” says the study.  With Arbor DDoS Protection Solution, these teams can conduct investigations into potential threats more quickly and efficiently resulting in reduction of more than 70% in full-time-equivalent (FTE) hours for incident management.  This equates to a benefit valued at just over $1 million for the composite organization.

Following interviews with NETSCOUT customers, the Forrester study also found that NETSCOUT offered several additional benefits, such as enhanced brand reputation, improved customer experience, excellent post-sales support, and a proactive operational posture that identifies potential DDoS incidents and attacks.
