Infosec moves to ExCel

ExCel London will be the new home for Infosecurity Europe (www.infosecurityeurope.com) for 2022.  Running from 21-23 June 2022, the change of venue from London Olympia will enable the organisers to scale up the event, evolving and growing the exhibition and conference programme to keep pace with the ever-increasing importance of cybersecurity on the global stage.

The larger size and greater flexibility of the space and facilities offered at ExCeL London will enable Infosecurity Europe to provide a world-class experience that meets the fast-changing demands of visitors, exhibitors and the media.

Commenting on the venue move, Nicole Mills, Exhibition Director at Infosecurity Group, says: “Our fantastic partnership with London Olympia has played an integral part in our journey to become Europe’s premier information security event, and its largest community of cybersecurity professionals.  In that time the importance of information security across every facet of society and business has increased enormously, and ExCeL London offers us the perfect platform for the next stage in our development.  Working with ExCeL will enable us to continually evolve our offer based on customer needs, equipping professionals with the skills and knowledge to meet future challenges, whatever they may be, as well as providing unparalleled opportunities for the exciting businesses within the sector to grow.”

The 24 on-site restaurants and bars, combined with the regeneration of the local area around ExCeL London, offers numerous options for the out-of-hours social and networking events that always make Infosecurity Europe buzz.

“We are delighted that Infosecurity Europe, the largest gathering of the information security community in Europe, has chosen ExCeL London as its new home,” says Simon Mills, Executive Director of Excel.  “Our proximity to London City Airport, along with the 13 on-site hotels and the Elizabeth line station at Custom House that is due to open next year, uniquely support those events with strong contingents of European visitors and exhibitors.  We look forward to supporting Reed Exhibitions to maximize its ambitions for growth, which will in turn deliver a more positive impact for London’s visitor economy.  The decision to host the event at ExCeL underlines that our venue is the home of world-leading events.”
